Karelia Drilling Company Oy is a North Karelian company founded in 2018, providing reliable and high-quality diamond core drilling services. We are committed to operating responsibly, with respect for the environment and local communities.

Our experienced team uses technology that enables the production of accurate and reliable information for the needs of the mining, geological, and construction industries. Our available equipment has been designed to be as lightweight as possible in order to reduce terrain damage and allow us to operate also in soft ground conditions.

Below is a list of available drilling rigs:

Geomachine GM100GL

The GM100GL is a lightweight, easily movable, and efficient diamond core drilling rig suitable for drilling to a depth of approximately 350 metres.

The drilling equipment can include, for example, WL66 equipment with a sample size of 50.5 mm or NWL2 equipment with a sample size of 50.5 mm. The rig can also be equipped with a cuttings collection system.

Sandvik DE142

The Sandvik DE142 is a powerful rig for drilling deeper holes, up to 1,500 metres.

The drilling equipment can include, for example, NWL2 equipment with a sample size of 50.5 mm or WL76 equipment with a sample size of 57 mm. The rig can also be equipped with a cuttings collection system.

Atlas Copco Diamec 262

The Diamec 262 is an electrically operated diamond core drilling rig designed for underground drilling in tunnels.

The drilling equipment can include, for example, WL56 equipment with a sample size of 39 mm.
